Urban Senior

Saturday a cousin of mine, my daughter and myself went to downtown Colorado Springs looking for some cool urban places to take pictures. My daughter, Ashley had been wanting some urban shots, so we set out first thing in the morning to see what we could find!

We found some really fun spots, and I particularly like the ballerina on a mailbox look. We got quite a few strange looks as we propped her up on top of that box! It was a fun day.

If you have an upcoming senior student and are interested in getting urban senior portraits, please call me to make your appointment today!

Fun on the railroad tracks!!

I belong to a local photographers guild called the Colorado Springs Christian Photographer's Guild and this past Monday a bunch of us met to practice some shooting! (With cameras, that is)

My daughters were the willing victims and we had a great time! These are a little different from your average, run-of-the-mill family and children portraits, but I think they are fun and I like that they are so different.

If you are interested in having a fun family picture taken in an urban setting, please call me to make an appointment today! (719-475-1755)

My First Maternity....

This was my first maternity session! Keleigh and her mom came to my studio and at first glance I didn't know which was the mother and which was the daughter! When I saw Keleigh's "bump" I knew she was the one that was expecting! Baby boy Weston is due on May 26th. Keleigh was a most willing subject so it put me at ease for this session. It was a lot of fun and I'm hoping to get some more expectant moms in the future! Congratulations, Keleigh!

Doctor Headshots

This weekend I had the pleasure of taking pictures of a local doctor here in Colorado Springs. She needed some new headshots for her practice website as well as a headshot for a conference she will be speaking at in the near future. She was as nice as could be and said she doesn't photograph well....I beg to differ!
