At the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, here in Colorado Springs, a great new band out of Austin, TX performed for free. Language Room is an Indie-rock type band that is awesome! They performed for a couple of hours while the cancer victims/survivors and their families and friends walked laps around the track at Liberty High School field. The four guys that make up the group are some of the nicest guys I've ever met. They were willing to play all night if need be or at least until some disgruntled neighbor called the police and said they were being too loud. So, much for charity, huh?!?!
